About
Following an eventful life of unbridled success, Baba’s life goes on an unending downward spiral. He loses his business, Marriage, and custody of his twin sons. Then he finds a job with the tax authorities to get back on his feet. However, the fallout with his ex-father-in-law, a prominent city lawyer, means he is a marked man whose work life ends a year before his formal retirement, meaning he is ineligible for a pension. He is an old penniless man with limited options, out of friends, and with little room to maneuver and he is forced to sleep on the streets. When he is set to believe it’s the end, he meets a frail eleven-year-old boy, Jesse, in a destitute situation and he helps Jesse get around life on the streets.
It’s the start of what becomes a lifelong duty of giving street children a warm place to rest at night. He adopts seven more children. Baba found purpose in his old age. His children grow in number and they become his focus of attention.
However, his past life quickly beckons and looks to tear his new life apart.
Will he return to his old rich life? What will become of the children he has adopted? Will he choose his ex-wife and twin boys over his new family?
