Zeria battles debilitating mental health challenges, the most prominent of which is undiagnosed schizophrenia which affects his ability to properly function in the job that he loves and cherishes; that of reporting the news. It is a job he is very good at. However, a nervous breakdown forces him into a mental hospital and his stay at the hospital causes him to lose his job at AN News Network.

At wit’s end; battling the illness, and with an irritable personality that had drained him of friends and kept him away from his family. He is at rock bottom.

He makes the ultimate decision to leave the life he knows and go back to Viazo Province, which is his father and his grandfather’s village. A place where everything started. He hopes to find two things in Viazo Province; closure following his father’s untimely death and rest until he is well enough to start again.
However, he discovers that Viazo Province has a secret of an unsolved death that triggers his reporter instincts and he begins looking through the past. In his search for the truth, he uncovers secrets about himself and about the Province that will haunt the province and have far-reaching consequences, far beyond the province.
